Pink Floyd and U2 Simalar?

I was listining to U2's The City of Blinding Lights and Where the Streets Have No Name and the guitar riff sounds just like Pink Floyds Take it Back. Go listen to some of U2's songs and tell me if you hear the similaities in the guitar riffs. Do you think they copied Pink Floyd? I think so.

That was a criticism of Take It Back when it was first released, that the riff was the same as WTSHNN. Having said that, The Edge lifted his entire guitar sound from David Gilmour, so it's a bit of an empty criticism. The Wall had just been released when U2 were starting out and Edge didn't look too far for that trademark U2 sound. This is actually confirmed in U2's biography, Unforgettable Fire, published in 1988. The use of the echo pedal is pretty obvious anyway.

The review (from Uncut, I think) also said that Take It Back lifted from Big Country. I'm a Big Country fan, and I couldn't hear any similarity there.
