What are the easiest Gilmour solos to play?

Ok so this thread probably should have gone in the jam room but there seems to be minimal traffic in there so I decided to post it here.

I've been playing acoustic guitar for about a year and today finally forked out the big bucks and bought myself a shiny new Fender Stratocaster to be my companion as I go deeper into playing lead.

I like to learn stuff that I am very familiar with as I find it easier and more rewarding and so I thought it'd be nice to try to learn one of Dave's solos. They're probably all a bit much for me but it should be a good learning experience anyway, so what are the easiest ones to play?

I was thinking maybe the short solo in the middle of 'Comfortably Numb' or maybe 'Mother'? I can actually play the rhythm parts of both those songs (roughly) so that'd be fitting.

What would the guitarists here suggest?

Btw, the dude at the shop who I bought the guitar from told me Dave died a couple of weeks ago when I asked if they had his signature strat. I thought he was trippin' as I browse this forum pretty regularly and have seen no mention of any such thing, but he had me worried until I got home and confirmed that he was indeed trippin'.

The Fletcher Memorial is simple, under-stated and brilliant. What you'll need most for this one though is "attitude". It's one of my favorites.

Cheers mate. I'll have a go at it when I get a minute. Just looking at the tab, it looks...approachable, I guess I could say.

I quite like the few guitar solos on The Final Cut. They're not as memorable as his work on the albums which preceded that one but they're still the highlights of the album.

I'm a Gilmour solo instructional video junkie on you tube. They're really quite helpful. I air guitar better than ever since discovering them.
