Fearless

Hello, Newbie here, first post and all, so I hope this is the correct spot for this post.

I'm trying to learn Fearless and I see it done in standard tuning and open G. Can anyone tell me which is correct, as in which was the original done in? Thanks for any help!

Hi and welcome to the forum!! Roger Waters wrote the main riff in "Fearless" around the Open G tuning that he learned from Syd, and he plays it that way on the recording. There are other guitar parts on the song played by Gilmour, and I think those might be in standard tuning.

This is one of my favs to play. I found a standard tuning arrangement of it on the Internet. The rhythm is a bit tricky so I'd recommend playing with the track a few times to get it down. This one was once requested while I was playing a solo set. No one else knew it, but I played it anyway. Too bad the Floyd didn't include this in any live performance.
