The first PF album I owned (my mum bought it for me): Ummagumma

So being that most of their stuff was already out, I got into them all out of chronological order and in a short period of time. After getting obsessed about The Wall, Dark Side..., and Wish.... I got obsessed with Atom Heart Mother for a LONG time.
Other early faves were Relics and The Final Cut.
Dogs is my favorite PF song.
The Wall is my fave PF album and my 2nd most fave album EVER.

Going against popular opinion: Echoes isn't one of my favorite songs.
Neither is Money. Not that I DON'T like them. I just like them less.
I saw PF in Sept. '87 at Toronto. I have a boot of that concert on triple vinyl that I scored a few weeks later for $80 (Canadian).

Personal life: In high school (early '80s) instead of doing homework, I learned how to play most of the PF albums on guitar through a process of obsessive listening and twinkling on the strings.
Knowing how to play the solo for Younglust or the chord changes for Atom Heart Mother was more important than algebra. It still is!

I just stumbled across this site a few days ago and decided to live here. Of course these silly immersion boxes have got the Floyd fan in me all excited more so than my wife so I'll come here for my nourishment. Get it? Vitamin C? Apples and Oranges?
