Just Something Inspired By Terminal Frost

I was listening to Terminal Frost the other day and this verse came to me. Its not exactly a poem, but it would be interesting to see what you think.

Terminal Frost

Galloping across the open space
Eyes trained to the distant horizon
The briefest moment of flight as I bound across the snow
Feel the wind breeze past
As I bound in great steps
Ever reaching my goal.

I am a wolf
Proud and strong
With fleetness of foot
And who knows what I am thinking
As I bound across open spaces
Staring at the horizon?

Do I have some sort of purpose in mind?
Have I a deliberate aim to achieve?
I am not hunting
For where are the reindeer I am so fond of hunting?

Only I know what I think behind these eyes
Only I know what I am doing and when.
All you can do is guess
As you watch me gallop across the glistening snow,
Leading the pack.
All I have to do is live
And do as I have to.

Its not exactly as I remember it but its close. What do you think?

Red Bull gives you wings but Terminal Frost kicks ass,

Red Bull

Red Bull, I don't understand why you say this isn't a poem. It looks like a poem to me, and a good one, at that.

Re: Just Something Inspired By Terminal Frost

*takes a bow*

Thank you. I never write poetry much but I do have a story that I may put on the forum, as I prefer stories to poems.

As for the verse, I didn't call it a poem because I thought it wasn't quite as good as the POEM I wrote originally (which I have lost). I see this as more of a hallucination put onto screen.

BTW your poems are good as well.

Red Bull gives you wings and Terminal Frost gives you some wierd hallucinations,

Re: Just Something Inspired By Terminal Frost

You're very welcome!

I hope to see your stories soon; I'm sure they will be good.

And finally, thank you very much for reading my work. That's kind of you to comment.
