Thursday evening, the Idea Generation gallery in London moved closer to the conclusion of its hosting of the StormStudios exhibition Big And Small (our review of the opening night can be read here) (
http://www.brain-damage.co.uk/latest...on-launch.html), with a very special invitation-only event attended by a select few. The evening was staged as a launch event for the new book which takes in the album (and related) graphics created by our friend Storm Thorgerson and his team over the past four years. The Raging Storm, more on which is below, is a beautiful, large format tome which no home should be without - our review is on its way, but suffice it to say that there's some wonderful new and previously unseen Pink Floyd imagery within its pages, alongside recent work for a number of other artists. The launch event saw a number of familiar faces attending, including Jenny Spires, and the man who provided the very first Floyd album cover - Vic Singh. We chatted at length with Vic, who revealed that he is just as busy with photography these days, working on a major new project. The massed ranks of StormStudios were also all there, and various conversations were had over the course of the evening.
