What do YOU Want NEXT???

What project would be nice to get from these guys in the upcoming years??

I know most of them is just me dreaming out ideas, but come on, it could happen. I won't go out on a limb and say that all 4 of them will pitch in, but maybe the Floyd from Pulse could get together for a little something something.

If you would like something else, please post it!

Oh and you have multiple choices as you vote, so feel free to dream!

Thanks!
See ya, did they expect us to treat them with any respect!

All are good ideas and dreams (I personally voted for the double-live album thing), but the best thing I can think of would be a DVD release of "Live at Pompeii". Imagine... a remixed soundtrack (with more bass in it, so it doesen't sound so wobbly), maybe in 5.1 surround; extra interviews (maybe even one from Wright); extra studio scenes; extra stuff from the Pompeii concert.
It makes me shiver!:o

Talking I agree!

Well, that would be option 5 I think. A revival of a concert, in this case Pompeii which is awesome, especially for the fans that really dig the pre dark side floyd.

I agree that Pompeii deserves treatment, maybe a release in cd with great sound, and a DVD would be reeeeally great, lets just hope that theyd take time to really add speacial features of some kind and not milk the fans again.

See ya, so f*ck all that, weve gotta get on with these!!

Talking Baby Floyd

By revival we mean taking a concert from that Dark Side tour (1973-74 I think) and giving it a great sound treatment and hopefully releasing it in some kind of special packaging and with an extensive booklet with pictures of them live..... oooh yeah

Because there's no chance in hell, in my opinion that the 4 of them will tour again, and I doubt Gilmour and the gang would do it, since they did just that in Pulse.

Oh and sure they could build on Pompeii, it deserves better and cleaner sound and clearer bass. Not to mention the fact that it would be available in stores instead of us having to track it down. Oh and hopefull it will also come with some kind of extensive booklet or special packaging!

It IS ok to dream

See ya, ashes and diamonds, foes and friends, we are all equal in the end!

I just realised that the possibilities of what they could do are endless... special releases, reunions etc.

*Sydney crosses fingers and hopes for "something"*

cheers

That would be the best thing. Let's just hope, but in the

meantime, there's a lot of live stuff or unreleased material that

shouldn't be kept from us.

See ya, but in the bottom of our hearts we made the final cut!

I know that maybe I stated the obvious, but that's the feeling of many of us after years of live recordings, compilations, etc. All wonderful stuff but...hey! However I voted for the early years rarities. And don't worry there's always something to come for a band like Pink Floyd.

I would first take the "Unplugged" show--a small venue, and all three members (or just two, if Mr. Mason decides that from now on he's in the Roger Waters camp). This would need to be a world-tour, not just Europe. But it would move slowly, perhaps even take two years to complete, because several nights would be needed in certain cities due to small venues. But I would like this so much. A small-show atmosphere...what a dream that would be.

Along with that, I would like a solo album from Mr. Wright.

Then (after that) I'll take Mr. Gilmour's and RW's solos.

And then I want PULSE on DVD.

(I'm not easy to please, am I?)

Pink Floyd Unplugged seems live a very good idea.

All the good Unpluggeds I can remeber are Nirvana and Eric Clapton.

Floyd deserves a shot, especially at this stage!

See ya, and I know that you care, for me!

Yes, DSOTM live with other stuff would be wicked. Personally I don't think I'd like anything new UNLESS it was with Roger, all of em back together. I really didn't care much for Roger-less albums. The novelty of a new Floyd release would be great but lets look at it this way were AMLOR and TDB any good? A friend of mine sold his copy of TDB for 3 bucks, lol, thats how much that PF fan thinks of it!

cheers

You and your friend heve the right to dislike TDB but this doesn't mean that most part of PF fans agree with you. The greater number of fans likes TDB and wants a new album from the three Floyds. This is a fact.
