Why Hello

I think the website told me I needed to introduce myself. Glad I found the site, I don't have many people to talk to about music that don't get bored to sleep. Let alone one of my favorite bands.

Welcome. I'm newish here too and there's lots of stuff to read around here. Most of the folks are pretty knowledgeable about PF and you'll find that, if you look at "just Babbling", that they're pretty knowledgeable about many many many many things.
Very entertaining characters from years passed. It doesn't seem to be as busy here as it seems it used to be but it's still a hoot looking back.

They're (who are they?) always mentioning about using the search function to avoid posting duplicate threads, but there's so much already discussed, you hardly need to even start a new post. Just resurrect an old thread by adding a comment and it automatically becomes a current topic. Thrilling huh?

You'll also find that the threads often have derailed themselves, gone off topic, sometimes almost immediately but it makes for an interesting and entertaining ride.

So. A girl who likes Pink Floyd and a boyfriend who yet needs to be converted? ( I read your comment on the Pompeii thread). Very good.

I'm sure one of the bosses around here will get to saying hello sooner or later and in the meantime, enjoy yourself here. As they say, it's time well wasted!

(sorry, I didn't even talk about Pink Floyd! Where are my manners?)

Thanks for the reply and for the tips! Yeah, my boyfriend is 36, much closer to the generation that should appreciate it more than my own. haha

Welcome to APFFN Daphne and Autumn! ...and to all other newcomers who have felt ignored!

Sadly, not so many people frequent the APFFN anymore...most have had their say, aired their opinions and have moved on to other interests. But, as noted by Daphne Blue, there is a treasure trove of PF discussion and knowledge in the forums. I would guess every conceivable PF subject has been discussed.

If you don't find an answer to any PF question you might have in the forums, ask Botley. He is the main moderator and probably the world's foremost authority on all things Floyd.
