So...What now??

Hi my name is you and I'm an alcoholic. I like the beach and moose meat. Only one of those are really true. I'm torn between alcoholic and moose meat. Living in Alaska I don't see the beach very often and I'm certainly not you. I like to think of myself as the most dedicated fan of Floyd, however we both know that is not true. I'm tired of posting random Floyd lyrics, and my poetry on craigslist, People are so un-understanding. So I'll check out this world of thought you Floydians have made for yourself.

This is a brilliant site to walk around in as a museum these days as opposed to a club house. I'm newish here too and I've tried to start fights and flame people and generally troll about (all of which is against the rules here...although it's entertaining to see some of the past conflicts, note the number of banned ex-members), but since this forum has been up and running for 10 years or so, the main body of the community have had their say over most of those years and moved on.

As a result, nearly every topic about PF and not, has been started up as a thread, SO, really, there isn't much reason for any new threads unless it's something genuinely new.

So don't be afraid to post comments in old threads and bring them back up into the public conscience. That's what I've been doing. Clear away some of the tumble weeds blowing across some of the older threads and clear the cobwebs away. There seems to be several new members here as well as some appearances by "older" regulars, so maybe things can pick up a bit more.

I used to think I was a Pink Floyd 'expert' (in my mind I still am) but Botley, the main mod around here these days has made an art form out of it. So if you can't find something you're looking for, or have a seemingly unanswerable question about anything to do with PF or the site, feel free to 'private message' The Piper (The Boss) or Botley (the inhouse brainiac)

P.S. I've never had moose meat, But I've had seal meat. And Alaska? Can't imagine it. I don't seriously believe it exists anyway. A conspiracy of cartographers!
