WYwH Immersion Box set

Santa brought me this box set this year. I Love It, however it came with 3 clear marbles. Does anybody know why? I can't figure it out.

"Absence" being the main theme of the album, these marbles symbolize that!

Well I understand the theme, but i don't get how the three marbles relate. Is there a line in a song i'm missing? And whose idea was it to put them in there? Is this just a well marketed cash cow? I'd like to think not.

I'm Immersed in my Dark Side scarf right now! Essential equipment for the sub- freezing Toronto winter...

All three Immersion sets so far have marbles with an album-related design. Mmmm, cash cow!

It was damn near freezing today (Dec 28). Is the scarf warm? I had a specialist appointment at Yonge and St. Clair. Bloody wind. Bloody cash cow.

Re: WYwH Immersion Box set

Did you, now? I live on St. Clair, but at roughly the opposite end of the streetcar line, in the "Corso Italia" district. It was bloody cold today (couldn't even expose bare fingers to operate the iPod between my front door and the streetcar stop) but that scarf did wonders, I can tell you.

Would that I had enough money to buy two or even three $100 scarves wrapped in other Pink Floyd paraphernalia.

If you shelled out the $600 plus for the U2 Achtung Baby Box, you could get yourself a pair of sunglasses. Sunglasses are practical. So are scarves. And all the great cartoons prove that marbles are handy to have on hand when being chased by bad guys. Or coyotes.

I really like the version of HaC with Roger and Dave singing. Lead guitar and keyboards lower in the mix...more funky. I like it!

I'm listening to that boxset right now! Disc two. I know that the marbles symbolize the theme of the album, but they should have did a cool design, like on the Dark Side of the moon box set. Santa also brought me this box set, haha. I can't wait till the Wall box set comes out
