| Answers 1) It wasn't easy! 2) I think it's just the way it was recorded. If you listen to the tracks from the Dark Side of the Moon, they're also 1/2 step up. Either they just did it because they thought the performaces were too slow, or it was just recorded that way, or maybe to save some time on the tape. 3) That was tape on Mason's drums, he was muffling them to give them a better contained sound, especially in an open field enclosed by ruined stones.

| Re: Things That Are Annoying Me About Pompeii What annoys me about Pompeii is the fact that on some of the songs Rick has a beard and on the others he hasn't and they are mixed up, so one song he has, the next he doesn't. I know it is only a little thing but it ruins the continuity of the 'concert'. |

I have written to the Senate on 5 occasions, as the ash is taking the paint right off my new chariot. They sent a bloke in a toga round to have a look at it, but all he did was say they couldn't do much about it, other than note down it was causing a bit of an annoyance.
