Hey, bertin-b, on the strength of your glowing report on the ITF DVD, I just ordered a copy from Amazon. (So if I don't like it, I'll track you down and kick your ass!! [j/k])

Seriously, I'm stoked. I've always liked Snowy White's guitar work; I've got a couple of his albums-- (Dave taught him a lot). He does seem to be one guy who's able to go freely between "camps" without pissing them off. (Dave and Rog both probably think Snowy is spying for THEM). Anyway, thanks for your take on the DVD. Floyd on, dude.

Talking ANYTIME!

You're welcome!

Always happy to help a fellow fan out. I'm also a big Snowy White fan, so that's why I got so excited watching him and Rog on the DVD. Oh and Andy Fairweather Low also.

See ya, What god wants, god gets, god help us all!

I Received the ITF Live DVD, and it is as good as bertin_brando promised.

I was very impressed with the version of "Dogs". The Keyboard player you (b_b) were referring to is Jon Carin, who played with Dave on DSOT and PULSE tours. He sang the part in Dogs that Dave did, and I could not believe how much he sounded like DG! He had all the nuances of Dave's voice Nailed! The guy is an amazing musician, doing not only keyboards and vocals, but acoustic guitar and lap steel guitar.....the Lap steel part he laid over "Wish You Were Here" was awesome---lent a whole new feeling to a great song.

I was also impressed with Doyle Bramhall...he has played with Clapton and SRV (!) & Jimmy V and a few other greats and has impressed them....he plays left handed and strings his guitar backward (Low E on Bottom--ala Dick Dale) but he flat NAILS Dave's Dogs solo....And his wife is the gorgeous white babe that sings backup vocals. Some guys get all the luck.

Anyway, money well spent....

I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

You're comments made me want to see it again.

Agreed, Jon Carin is amazing, he also nails Wright's keyboards just right on 'Time'. Very versatile and talented guy, he should have sung some more in my opinion.

Well, glad you liked it.

See ya, silence in the studio!
