 In the Flesh?
I will probably be stoned to death for this however. Can anyone name a band that dislikes its fans more than Pink Floyd?? This statement is not meant to say I don’t like the group. I have seen every us tour of the group since 1971 with one exception The Wall tour as I was in rehab at the time (Had to grow up sometime). All the shows with the lineup of Gilmore, Waters, Wright and, Mason. Never would you hear HAY it’s great to be in ____ you fill in the blank. You can’t because they NEVER spoke to the crowd. It always seemed like they just wanted to play the music we, look at all the petty lights and leave us the hell alone. The band spoke of it many times to somehow play behind a wall, on the WALL it even refers to us as Space cadets. Waters even went as far to spit in the face of a person at a concert. Anyone else think this way??? |
