Re: "Run Like Hell (Session Musicians)"

Typical ambulance chaser response; you'll go far, Driven old son.

ASSUMING (warning!...warning!...massive assumption approaching...) Roger would ever want to use the name again - already we're in deep troube here - AND the current owners indeed have no further use for it, then surely they should mark it up and sell it off...but only to an original band member. Uh-oh. :o

Hmmm...perhaps retirement IS the best course, after all; no-one has to trade anything. Would they really want to commoditise Pink Floyd so that ANYONE could buy it and claim to be them a la The Supremes?

Roger and Nick could easily put on Live shows including their own PF stylings, and David and Rick can continue their own way.

Sweet.

Re: "Run Like Hell (Session Musicians)"

What we are doing here is making a lot of assumpsions which we know are never gonig to happen. However I believe that this is a debate of right and wrong and the only wrong is selling it to non Floyd members.

cheers

I'm afraid when the crazy Scot's involved you don't have much choice in the matter Sydney.

I'll be trying very hard to steer clear of the Vodka Redbulls though.

Fair enough- but there's a new girl in town- her name is Green Chartreuse and she is indeed my favourite fancy lady of choice.

Happily, she rocks in at 55% proof.

Friday then.

Cheers Pete

Re: "Run Like Hell (Session Musicians)"

Out on the piss?
What does that mean, Sydney? That you got drunk?
I had some red wine and hash, myself. Than I saw 2001 in the movie theatre where it's playing for one week only. Awesome!

Re: "Run Like Hell (Session Musicians)"

Out "on the piss" does indeed mean drinking, out to get pissed (US: drunk).

Hmmm...red wine AND hash sounds an explosive combination.

Re: "Run Like Hell (Session Musicians)"

I was extremely mellow during 2001. A lesser movie may have put me to sleep. I was quite hungry after.

I should add that it was done in moderation.
Of course.

Out on the piss. I like that.

I didn't end up drinking with Fixx. Went on a pub crawl with some other mates.
