| Just got back from Roger's show here at the FilaForum and, F**K!!! What can I say... Apart from Snowy making a fool of himslef at the start of WYWH (he forgot to turn up the volume knob so the first part of the acoustic mini-solo wasn't heard) the whole show was breathtaking, and all the musicians did a great job (yes, including Snowy). Rog was in top form, surprisingly never singing off-key (and no lip-synch... he did struggle, but the high notes were sang live) and also playing very well both bass and guitar. The audience was even too receptive... for the first half-hour every vocal was covered by the audience singing... Waters and the band did notice this, and were very impressed and amazed. Also took a couple of nice photos, I'll probably send them to the Fleeting Glimpse website as soon as I get 'em out of the digicam. Oh, and one last thing: the sound quality!!! I swear I have never ever experienced such a sound in any concert, before. Simply astounding, and very effective with those sound effects, like the truck in Every stranger's eyes, explosions in Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert and Perfect Sense II... All of my friends misheard Andy Wallace as Andy Waters and are still convinced the entire keyboard department is run by Roger's family Well, anyway, I think you can tell that I am a very, very happy human being right now. Now it's a bit late, I'll go to sleep... nice dreams are awaiting me.
