By the way has anyone heard the anthology 3 version of rocky racoon? Absolutle classic! If not download it, Paul completley fluffs his lines and tries to make them up!

Really? I thought that the White Album and Abbey Road would be neck-in-neck, with Sgt. Pepper's trailing close behind.

i actually thought it would be close between sgt. peppers, white album, revolver, and abbey road. but i had a feeling abbey road would take the lead eventually.

there's something about abbey road that really gets me, maybe its knowing they put it together despite pretty much hating each other by that time. It just seems very 'finished' as well... by that i mean there's nothing i would really change...its just perfect quality. Sgt. Pepper is the other one that feels 'finished' (IMO) what could you change about either of them? Every other album has one song or another that isnt perfect.

Although this is all highly debateable! Actaully, i love Let It Be which is the opposite end of the scale for perfecitvness (is that a word!?) but the songs are great fun and catchy. Especially one of my Beatles faves, 'I've got a feeling'.

Yeah, he was really shminking of gin.

Anyway, I thought Sgt. Peppers would win cause it's so popular and so good .

Re: Your Favorite Beatles Album?

This thread is so old, but it deserves to be remembered!

I voted Revolver / Sgt. Pepper / White Album / Abbey Road, because i can't decide only one favourite.

Re: Your Favorite Beatles Album?

I voted for the White Album because it is not the typical Beatles album. Whenever I find someone who hates the Beatles without having listened too much to them (only the typical "hits") I suggest them to listen to this album. It's like the Beatles going "indie" (sort of). And it's very varied, there is something there for everyone.

Re: Your Favorite Beatles Album?

hard choice between Abbey Road and White Album, but I went with the White. I just think it has some songs that are more fun, like Bungalo Bill and Helter Skelter, and then it just has some classics like While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Revolution, Happiness is a Warm Gun and Dear Prudence.
