| Re: Favorite Comic Based Movie Yeah i agree. I try to forget 3 and 4. In saying that however Chris Reeve is still amazing in those movies, especially the tyre yard scene in 3 where he fights himself.

| Re: Favorite Comic Based Movie Yeah, and in the diner as well where Superman actually kicks his own arse. Incidentally, I experienced my first, albeit mild taste of global animosity toward America during the showing of the first Superman film. Happily for me this occured on the [English] Channel (French: La Manche)/North Sea ferry crossing to Holland, in the tiny ship's cinema. At the end, where our hero has saved the day, naturally, and is flying in space past Earth, the voiceover explains the superhero's mission: the defender of Truth, Justice and the American Way, the majority of the audience let out a most disagreeable groan. And then laughed their fool heads off (this is where I groaned) at his wave and extra cheesy It was...a revelation. ![]()

| Re: Favorite Comic Based Movie My choice would have to be Green Lantern. (check out my avatar!) Even though they have not made a movie for him yet. He is THE superhero. Afterall, I believe it was him, or they?, that guarded Superman as a baby while he was on his journey from Krypton to Earth. So you could say that if it were not for GL Superman may never have made it to Earth. Afterall, he does possess the most powerfull object in the universe. ~Brian~

| Re: Favorite Comic Based Movie Richard Pryor was the only good thing in the entire Superman series. Please he kisses Lois Lane and she forgets he is Superman, he flies around the world backwards and time is reversed, what cop-out endings.

| Re: Favorite Comic Based Movie so what you are saying floydboy is that you don't like any comic based movies? because out of all of the ones ever made you chose a non existent one. and i'm sorry but richard pryor sucked in that movie. and as far as endings go what did you expect?

| Re: Favorite Comic Based Movie Hmmmm? Good question thorin. Out of the choices that are @ hand, Batman drew the most attention from me. I have not seen Spiderman yet but he is my second favorite of superheroes. I just don't like this Toby Whats-his-name playing Peter Parker. He's nothing what I'd picture Peter looking like. And I heard they changed some of the history about how he became Spiderman. (By the way, The Incredible Hulk and DareDevil should come out next year. I know DareDevil is.) Personally, a Green Lantern movie would be more interesting for me. ~Brian~

| Re: Favorite Comic Based Movie yes a green lantern movie would be good. but which green lantern would you like to see? i'd like to see hal jordan. i can't remember the other fellows name. i wasn't a big fan of spiderman the movie. spidey wasn't as funny as he is in the comic with his quips or whatever. i don't know too much about his origin but what i do know they did get right. they did change the gwen stacey part. instead of gwen its mary jane and of course she doesn't die. the daredevil movie looks like crap but i'm not sure about the hulk yet. i want a new, better captain america or maybe even an avengers.

| Re: Favorite Comic Based Movie I think you are referring to Kyle Rayner. I'd like to see a movie made of either. Kyle b/c he seems so screwed up. And Hal for when he becomes Parallax. I have yet to see any footage of the DareDevil movie or the Hulk. I've just read about them in the USA Today paper a few weeks ago. They had a list of like 20 comic based movies in the making or on the table waiting to be made. An Avengers movie would be cool. So would Silver Surfer.

| Re: Favorite Comic Based Movie yeah kyle rayner. thanks for reminding me. it was great when hal jordan became parallax. he became crazy or something right? because his city had been decimated by the cyborg superman. my friend used to read it and told me all the stuff.
