Ditto. Having had FWr's, Radiohead's and others' recommendation I downloaded the above song and found it very haunting and quite appealing.

I didn't think much of the other recommendation: Fake Plastic Trees but if you or they can think of similar songs to How To Disappear Competely I'd be interested.

If you want something similar to 'How to Disappear Completely (And Never Be Seen Again), I'd suggest 'Street Spirit,' 'Climbing Up the Walls,' or maybe 'Exit Music (For a Film),' although none of them are really anything much like each other.

To Byron: download Paranoid Android! Get Paranoid Android!
It's not very haunting, but it shows Radiohead at their weird best. If you would like something similiar the 'How To Disappear Completely", I would recommend "Exit Music (For a Film)".

And... I am listening to David Bowie do a live cover of Jaques Brel's My Death. That is a haunting song.
