The song 'Oh! You Pretty Things' has nothing to do with the band, I'm afraid.

And he did do a Pretty Things cover on his Pin-Ups album, but I forget the exact song.

Also, David really did dig the Pretty Things. One time, he asked Phil May for his phone number. May took Bowie's address book out of his hand, to write his number on it. May recalls that he couldn't help but notice that Bowie had written in 'God' next to where May was told to write his phone number.

i never thought it was about the pretty things. just found it odd that the words "the, pretty and things" were all used. and consecutively too!
