Best track on Obscured By Clouds

Do you know the cost of recorded delivery/registered post for such a commodity from Florida to Colorado these days? And don't let's get started on the risk, which to me seems too great!

HORROR Thought of the week: There may be 8-track, cassette, LP and CD copies of OBC in some "Dead Letter" pile somewhere hoping for a grateful home. Oh no!

Still, it's the very least a Floyd fan could offer one to another for what my mate calls Pink Floyd's Pivot album between the early psychedelia and the modern masterpieces. He may have had something there; stratman may be getting a bargain.

Seriously... Once I get the money, I will get it and then give it a listen (on headphones). And then, I will vote on the poll, and will post, explaining my answer!

To be honest, I just got asked out of the blue. Thanks for the tongue-in-cheek congrats!

It's not to say I don't enjoy "The Gold, It's In the...". I think it's tremendous fun! It's just that it's one of the few Floyd songs I can say, hey, it sounds a lot like another band!

how many moderators does there need to be. whatever happened to charade i am? haven't heard from him in awhile.

Seriously...I think Charade is around, but he's very busy.

It's a prett difficult one to answer definitively... I'd have to say that it's a tie between 'Burning bridges', 'Childhood's end' or 'Stay'.

The last one is probably my only concession to Rick Wright's input.

I just find it to be a pretty emotive tune, if not terribly well sung.



It's a great album overall.
