Sounds like a great evening in store. Shame I can't afford to see David again this year, in that posh picnic setting (let alone luxury lavish lunch @ GB£1,800pp :o ) and for the worthy cause, but perhaps the weather mightn't be kind that day, so there's a bright side. ![]() Great news though GW#1, good to see you still around.

Bloody hell , £90 a ticket?? , £300 for a picnic table?? I wonder how much the "fabulous array of seafood" would set you back?? The mind boggles

I know, plus you have to dig out or hire the formal clobber for the gig as well. Imagine how nasty it would be if it pissed with rain on the day. Ahh to have the readies to attend such a shindig. Last edited by Bride of a Bull; 05-21-2002 at 03:06 AM.

How much is that American dollars I wonder? I have been thinking of a trip to Europe, preferably Germany, but if I can catch one of the Floyd's live, I'd rather do that. Let's just see if I can finagle a passport and airline tickets and time off before this all goes down.

All conversion of currencies are mid-market rate as at 2002-15-05: GB£90.00 = US$131.29 (1=1.45879) GB£1,800 = US$2,628.50 :o Good luck!

What would be nice is if the old legend would bring his solo shows to the USA. Has anyone heard anything about him possibly doing such a thing? I'm sure he would make a good deal of money (not that he really needs it!). And, I've seen Mr.Waters live, it would be so nice to see Mr.Gilmour also.~Brian~

Well, there's a *rumour* through the net these days. According to this rumour the man apparently is planning a tour for next year (2003). It's just not clear if it would be a world, european or UK tour... and of course we don't know if it's indeed true.

Yannis, I saw that on your site, but I was not sure if I was reading correctly. Did it also say there's a chance Mr. Wright might come with him? Or was I misreading?

The bit about Rick Wright is just my comment!!! My *hope* that is!!! The rumour, reported by various major fansites is just about Gilmour's possible tour.

It was probably a bit equivocal sentence... I posted a correction anyway.
