I was in a band years ago in Chicago. (South Burbs actually) I kind of liked our band name... We were The Blind Ducks.

I played bass in a band once. Our name was "Patch". (really sounds dopey now). We did covers of Paul Revere & Raiders, Stones, The Kinks, the Yardbirds, etc. + some original stuff. Lotsa fun....

...Kicks just keep gettin' harder to find.....

Wow. News to announce...!!!

After a few years of not really doing anything with my music, other than Amuse Myself (to Death), I now have not one, oh no, but two projects in the works.

Firstly. a duet project with a coworker, we may add a few backup musicians to fill out the live sound but the recording is just the two of us, very progressive (ala, Floyd, DiMeola, ELO, Jean Luc Ponty) all original stuff.



Secondly, a not so solo project featuring me on guitar and drums, and my daughter on keyboards and vocals...... I'm very excited about this one.

I'll keep ya posted.

Im in two too!

The first one started earlier this year. Same sorta line up as the Floyd (not intentional) -Drums, bass, keyboards, guitar

No one is said to be the singer, mainly because we all have an inablity to write lyrics very well. Im up for instrumental stuff, but the keyboardist isn't as keen about that as I am. BTW I play guitar. And were still unnamed! grrr

The other band Im in is a gospel/jazz band. I play trumpet in this one. Theres a whole load of people involved, line up is something like - drums, bass, 2 guitars, 2 trumpets, trombone, 2 keyboards, percussionist, 2 singers

This lot is alot more organised. We've got a concert on saturday, so if theres anyone in the london region whos intrested, just ask

If I can get the rock band sorted, we'll go travelling playing gigs on our way around the world during our gap year (2003/2004)

I have a new project in the works, which involves a female bass player, who also sings (she plays some other instruments as well). May be adding some other instrumentation down the road, if things work out.

Also, am putting together an all original acoustic set for an annual benefit show on January 3rd. Will be the 5th straight year for me playing this particular benefit. I've enlisted the bass player from the band I used to play in (he played last year, also), and a fiddle player (who is in the first project listed above), and may have another special guest guitarist, and a vocalist, if I can work them in. Haven't performed live in almost a year, and that was in a totally different project, so I'm getting a little bit nervous already.

I have a new project i'm working on right now, Me and three other guys are going to make a CD, we already have our.....

I have never been in a band and though I wish I could be, I don't have the kind of time, and most of my friends listen to rap, so it isn't going to work for me.

Just because they like rap doesn't mean they are bad people, just a bit MESSED UP! Heh.
