On Topic: I'm in a band. We are going to start working on quite a few new songs as soon as it warms up just a little more....OK, a lot more. In another month or so we'll be back at it. By the way, I play guitar and am the lead singer....if you can call what I do singing.

I'm a lead singer/guitarist/keyboardist/songwriter. I'm a Thom Yorke or a Roger Waters type. I basically write all the songs and my band fills them out. Anyway, now that my tenth band has broken up, I'm releasing a solo album, currently being recorded.

Actually, that's a refrigerator. We were playing a show at Tower Records and they didn't exactly a have a stage, so we set up against one of the walls. I cropped out the magazine rack to the left.

Wow. You sounded like a talentless hack and that picture prooves it! Just kidding. I like making fun of other musicians for being just as doomed to poverty as me. Ten bands? Wow. I thought I was disagreeable.

I was in a band once. Used to play the drums and sing lead too. The the bassist and meself would switch for some songs. The bassist wound up in St. Petersburg doing medecine and I ended up in Buffalo, NY, USA. The guitarist is still there... while our keyboardist. Well, she got married and settled down in the UK. Never tried after that. Some history huh? Hey paran01dandr01d : Nice pic. Last edited by Simon; 03-18-2003 at 10:14 PM.

Well it wasn't so bad. We were doomed to fail anyways. Come to think of it, we really weren't sure if we wanted to make it big on the music scenes or not. It was just a hobby for me.

At least you all stayed relatively close together, geographically.

I'm in a band right now that got together in January. I play bass guitar. We haven't put any Floyd songs completely together yet, but we're thinking of doing Happeist Days/Another Brick in the Wall, Pt.2 and Time. We have numerous originals, one which has lyrics to it, and we are planning on playing an open mic a week from today. It's going to be awsome! Probably play a Sabbath song like Fairies Wear Boots and the yet-titled original. I can't wait. We still need a name though. We all have some ideas, but we can't come to a consensis.... -Led
