| Re: Their Satanic Majesties Request Funny you should mention that, S-L. Their Satanic Majesties Request is my favorite Stones album, which is the opposite of most Stones Fans, who badmouth it like a retarded stepchild. I guess I like it 'cause it's kind of "Floydy" in a way; psychadelia always appealed to me. When I was in the Army, I put it on the turntable every night and went to sleep listening to it. Being stuck in Germany, "2000 LY From Home" was my theme song. One night when I had CQ duty, I put it on the Battalion Paradeground Loudspeaker turntable and cranked it up..... ![]()

| Re: Their Satanic Majesties Request 2000 LYFH and Shes a Rainbow are great tunes but it scared me one day whilst driving to Arizona on a half a tab. So now everytime I hear the album I think about that day. Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers are my favs but I think on this album the Stones tried to experiment with the psycadelic sound and didn't do a good of a job as the Beatles did. |

| Re: Their Satanic Majesties Request "Satanic Majesties" might not be considered one of the best by many fans but no one can deny that "2000 Light Years" is an all time classic. This was the record which hinted at Jagger's growing interest in witchcraft and alchemy. |

| Re: Their Satanic Majesties Request Very good album indeed. I downloaded it because of the good opinions expressed by various members of this site and I like it. She's A Rainbow is definitely my favourite. ![]()
