Who's In A Band?

Hey... how many people here have musical projects, or are in bands?
I have a musical project myself... I call it the Shane Guy Experiment. It's instrumental, and I play everything - drums, bass, guitar, organ, and miked water jugs.
I have a 4-track, so I record every so often... I just completed my own album, which I call "Chromatic". I think it's pretty good.

So, who else here is in a band, or has a musical project of their own?

i am in one kind of. we are in limbo at the moment. we have had many names and they were all equally gay. s.o.s, the 13th movement, and the technicolours. we didn't have a drummer so we used acid loops or crappy casio beats. good times.

p.s. we have a four cd anthology. you can get one if you want all you have to do is send one dead woodchuck. preferably stiff. only joking. we do have an "anthology" but i wouldn't send it to anyone. its just a joke for the three of us.

Really interesting, Thorin.
In the picture, which one is you? And how did you get such an odd effect in that picture? It looks like steam or smoke... it looks pretty awesome.
Yeah... I will try to put up some mp3s, if anyone is interested.

BTW, the Technicolours is a pretty cool name.

Ah... a keyboardist, I see.
Yeah, I used to be the Shane Guy Experience, but I decided not to pick on Hendrix and changed it to Experiment; it fits better, as I experiment more (musically) than I make sure that people are experienced.
It fits.

I am not now nor have I ever been in a band. Unless Boy's Glee and Jr. High Choir could be considered a band; doubtful.

But my own band-related claim to fame is being groady (groupie+roady) to first The Motion Pictures , and then, sadly, to The Flares . We would lead the audience in really getting into the show, ogling and cheering our favourites, and help pack and cart away afterwards.

They never played any PF in their pub sets, usually at The Hen and Chickens at Highbury Corner, London, just 60s Mersey and Cruise-liner fodder.

The bassist and the excellent, wasted talent of now Flamenco supremo, Angus are pictured and I am photog.

Call me Linda.
geddit?...pop/rock photographer partner to split-up band member. gosh, hope I don't have cancer!
