A poem unlike Pink

I was reading some of the poems on this board, and I thought, "Maybe I shouldn't post this." As I was talking of my own poem, and then I decided I would, but, the poem I am about to post is nothing like a Pink Floyd poem, so if you were expecting anything, get that out of your head now. This is in fact going to be a song, and I did in fact write it for someone special. So sit back, read, and enjoy, maybe someday I'll type up some guitar chords for it as well, for all those people who want to know how I sing it in my mind. Tell me what you think.

If I gave you a rose, everytime I thought of you,
You'd have a house full of roses.

If I wrote you a note, everytime I wished you were near,
You'd have a drawer full of notes.

If I sang you a song, everytime I wanted to kiss you,
Your day would be full of music.

And if I said "I love you," everytime I did,
Then that would be all you'd ever hear.

Simple, effective.

There is, and she has my heart with her every day, and nothing and noone can take it away.

I'd like it to, but... it might not. When she goes off to college (I don't have to worry about it because I'm going to a local college) she might find someone else.
But there's always a chance!

...whatever you do, as bad as this may feel, please don't become disillusioned with love in general. That's a mistake I've seen some make.

yeah, I actually started to expect it a couple days before it happened, anyways, when she did it I think I was sort of smiling the whole time but I can't remember, it wasn't a very big deal for me
and I won't become disillusioned, thank god thanks for the concerns, though, you two are like the only people who even read this post I bet.
anyways, if I find a new girl, it means more love poems for you guys to read and criticise!!
