| Nads? Hey, No, it's not what you think. I was just reminiscing upon my favourite info-mercials (yes, I know, spare me the comments, I have a lot of time on my hands) and I came to the infamous NAD's hair removal system. I think the hook was this line: "And she walked out of the bathroom, and I was like, 'Oh my God! You have NAD's!" or also the classic, "...Nad's is an all natural mixture, so you know that it's edible and you can actually eat NAD's!" *Sigh* Oh, my. So...anyone have any fav infomercials? Lord knows I do.    |

| Re: Nads? I wonder if the maker of Nad's knows, or has known, or ignores, or has been told of the fact that thier product is being ridiculed world-wide for sharing the same name with the slang for male testicles. |

| Re: Nads? Well, it's certainly an attention-getter. But really...do you think that it has a different meaning in Australia? Or they're not aware of American slang--which can render just about ANYTHING obscene?

| Re: Nads? I actually think I remember the story going as the inventor named it after a friend, or maybe her daughter, or the friend of her daughter...well, anyhow, it was *someone* named Natalie...whose nick name was Nad. Thus... Well, maybe it's just sick coincidence. |

| Re: Nads? i remember when my mom got those when they first came out and i didn't know what they were. i looked at her dumbfounded and said "what the hell is this?" suffice to say i thought it was something i shouldn't have seen.
