Re: Favorite album from this era

It's almost impossible for me to choose between the two GREATEST album by Pink Floyd, Dark Side and WYWH.

Re: Favorite album from this era

Meddle--the absolute height of the collaborative Pink Floyd's accomplishment...all talents in perfect harmony.

Personally, I feel that DSotM and WYWH are RW-domination, so I don't even count them in this, anyway.

But I'd STILL vote for Meddle--my all-time favourite Pink Floyd album.

Re: Favorite album from this era

I can't believe I did this, because I have various degrees of likingness for ALL of these albums, but I voted for Dark Side of the Moon.
I voted for it because it is the only album, out of all of these, that collectively gives me the shivers every time I hear it... after two years of frequent listening.
'Echoes' gives me the shivers, too, but the rest of Meddle doesen't.

Re: Favorite album from this era

I voted WYWH... tho' i spent a while thinking about it. For me it was between AHM, Meddle, DSotM and WYWH...which covers most of it i guess lol. AHM and WYWH here mean the most to me, which for me adds to the value of them. AHM was the first I got and WYWH... the whole Syd thing makes it really meaningful. I thought of SOYCD and decided to vote for WYWH.

I was going to vote for Extended Zabriskie Point, how could you not include that!!! And what about Relics? A Nice Pair? Scoff. I don't think I'll even vote.

...

OK, fine, WYWH.

I voted 'Meddle' but I really wanted to vote 'Meddler'.... 'Fat Old Sun' is awesome on that.

Re: Favorite album from this era

Obviously, "Meddler" is a bootleg. I'm going to have to try to get that, cause im knocked out by those live 15 minute versions of Fat Old Sun.

Oh, Yeah, I voted for DSOTM. It's just perfect from first to last heartbeat.
