the wall

i'm becoming quite scared of technology and it taking over the world and all. Whats it going to be like in 10 years? 20? Does anyone else feel the same way.... I wonder

Once we're all connected to the Master Computer it'll be just peachy.

Seriously, people drive technology, not the other way around. When people don't understand technology, it doesn't get bought, and hence has no real effect. So, while the rate of change we see around us may seem bewildering, it's what the majority of us can handle; when the technology becomes incomprehensible, it waits while the rest of us catch up.

Well not "The Man" as in, authority, I just mean man in general. I used to bitch about technology but then I realized that technology in itself is not good or bad, it's what people do with it.

I agree. I dealt with the same fear and confusion over the summer as a lay in the fetal position for 3 months on the floor of my room.
