It was a close call between Flaming and Bike for me. I went with the latter, because it's my favourite lyric on the album.

The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn is one hell of a good album. Tracks that stand out are Lucifer Sam, Matilda Mother, Chapter 24 and Bike (for me that is). Lucifer Sam gives me an amazing visionary of a black cat crawling over fences under the moonlight. Matilda Mother reminds me of being in a boat just cruising slowly down a river in the middle of nowhere just dreaming away. Chapter 24 is very good. I voted for it. I love the mystical, magical side to it and the lyrics are wonderful (Yes, I do know they are from I Ching) and Bike is a great track especially when at the end, one imagines themselves entering Syd's head and hearing the clockwork and all these random trippy sounds.

Syd only made one of those albums

Such a f*****g waste of talent......

which lunatic voted for Take up thy Stethoscope and Walk? It's probably the worst song in the Pink Floyd catalogue!

Oh, by the way, i vote for Astronomy Domine. Brilliant song that. In fact the whole album is superb except for Stethoscope. They should have either taken it off the record or replaced it with Remember a Day (which i'm pretty sure was recorded in the PatGod sessions).
