Re: BEST Solo Effort?

I can't in good conscience vote for Radio KAOS, About Face, Wet Dream, or Broken China. The rest are good though. I really do thoroughly enjoy most of Mason's "Profiles," but Rick's voice is a bit grating and over-production ruins the other two.

I cant stand ATD; its too boring for me.

The solo album David Gilmour is the best from what I've heard off that list.

Amused To Death. The title track is brilliant, but there are some weak parts on the album too.

No, you're wrong, Hermod! It's not some weak parts on Amused To Death. The last minutes of "Too Much Rope" is a little bit naff, but that's the only weak point. The album is a masterpiece. But "On An Island" is a strong contender for the best solo album competition.
