Yeah, good allusion, stratman.

Even if the poll did include Meddle, I'd still be, as now, unable to select just one; I remain, undecided.

Hmmm...I don't much care for trinities, so I'll personally tag OBC on the front and Animals on the back.

Well, for me, if Meddle were added, that would be my choice, for sure.

The others are among Floyd's best. But I have a very special respect for Meddle.

I think a better question is: Final Cut or Momentary Lapse of Reason?

Obviously DSOTM. WYWH is a load of less than purposeful noodley crap in places and the Roy Harper song just doesn't make the grade.

At least DSOTM is relatively 'exciting' in places.

Cheers,

Mark

Sarah: Though I enjoy AMLoR, I would vote for TFC in that case.

When talking about DSOTM, no one ever mentions the best song (in my opinion) Any Colour you Like! It's so good. Plus, it's the turning pointin the album, it brings you to the grand finish! And meddle has the best Pink Floyd song ever, echoes.

Oh, I agree that ACYL is a BEAUTIFUL song.

And "Echoes"? One of the two best Pink Floyd songs, in my opinion, and certainly the best in musicianship.

DSOTM because to me WYWH is kinda fragmented if you know what I mean.
I love WYWH as well though.

I don't care much for the whole Trinity idea, Meddle has Echoes, which is one of the top PF songs but the rest border on just above average to pretty good. The Wall? Please! Animals also has its probs, though it is one of my faves.

Oh by the way, I voted for Dark Side. The climax of Brain Damage/Eclipse is breath-taking.

I voted forWYWH. That is the one album I relate to the most. The whole mood of that "masterpiece"(IMO) suits me perfect. DSotM...well, "Time" and "ACYL" both are wonderful. Yes, it is labeled as Floyd's "epic masterpiece" but I think that's why I did not vote for it. It's like saying ABitW pt2" is Floyd's best song. Yeah, to someone who only nows Floyd by that song. Same goes for DSotM. Everyone knows Floyd made it, and it was huge with sales and radio play. Anyway, DSotM would be the obvious choice to most. But not I. I'd pick "Meddle" over "DSotM". But in reality, it does not matter. I love them all just the same. I can't help it if I play one more than the other.

The Wall kicks ass! Comfortably Numb, In the Flesh, Run like hell, young lust, (ABiTW is pretty good too, just not as good as everyone says it is, the people who know nothing about Pink Floyd. i like to listen to them right after each other) I also like the trail. There is some lame one's though *cough* vera lynn *cough*

Way to avoid the question, man.
Are they still building that highway under the ocean in Boston? Scary.
