Dark Side or WYWH?

DSOTM off course, WYWH is a great album but i don't see it as the true masterpiece animals or DSOTM is.

Id definitley say Wish you were here because i feel it was their greatest album and that it kinda summed up everything that was happening before that album like syds leave and all that stuff

This is a very tough question, my two favorite Floyd albums.

Dark Side is just so haunting, and beautiful, and disturbed. The guitar playing is excellent, as are the vocals and the rest of the instruments. It is an album of diverseness, and it is great.

Wish You Were Here is also an excellent album, and lyrically is genious. Excellent guitar work as well, especially on the Shine On series and Wish You Were Here.

This is very tough, both are great albums. Wish You Were Here also has the advantage of nostalgia, as this summer my good friend (and fellow Floyd fan) listened to it all night one night while hanging out together.

But all in all, I will have to say Dark Side of the Moon. Just, pure, excellence.....

ahhh these are my two favourites..... hard choice.... i voted for dsotm but they are both awesome albums

WYWH! Nothng can beat SOYCD or WTTM.

WYWH is so good. DSOTM is great. I think it really depends on your style of music. For instance, WYWH only has 5 tracks, and Shine On (both tracks) are very long, and more of a jam. So if you dont have patients, then you'll not like this album as much. DSOTM is a very classic PF album and has radio songs on it, plus....The Wizard of Oz

I voted for WYWH.

Very difficult choice but I vote for WYWH for the reason that everytime I am in trouble and out of faith it helps me thinking more optimiticalistic about existence.No doubt TDSOM is a masterpiece but this time it comes in second place.Farewell folks.

Wish You Were Here

I love both albums, but WYWH is superior for me

I voted for Dark Side of the Moon. Not a single thing wrong with this album. The only problem I have with Wish You Were Here is that I don't like the lyrics to Welcome to the Machine.

Dark Side, though they are both masterpieces. SOYCD is possibly my 2nd favorite Floyd song after "Echoes".

I love them both but i chose dark Side because i love great Gig and On the run

Wish YOu Were Here, because of Shine On...Pts. 6-9
