well, i voted for DSOTM - i couldnt choose between the 2 musically, what made the decision was the album cover art

Nobody Home/Vera Lynn is my favorite part of The Wall, there I've said it.

As for the poll, a very hard decision but I put Dark Side of the Moon because of the beautiful climax on Brain Damage/Eclipse.

They are very close. I voted for DSOTM also because of the beautiful ending.

I had to vote WYWH, I love SoYCD and WYWH, perhaps two of the greatest songs they ever put out. But it was a damn difficult decision because DSotM was the second FLoyd album I ever bought (the first being the Wall) and it is so awsome. Yes, ACYL is a beautiful song, but can you really say it's the best on the album, the whole thing flows together so swell that I must listen to the whole thing in it's completeness. (side note, watching P*U*L*S*E right now, and the Dark Side just began, coincidence huh) But I will stick with my vote for WYWH. (My mistake, DSotM starts on the next song, One of These Days is playing right now, sorry)

I love both albums but if I HAD to choose only one, I'd prefer DSOTM ... not only because of Brain Damage/Eclipse climax, but there's also another song that makes me shiver every single time that I listen to it: Time, a song that has accompanied me for more that twenty years ... As soon as it starts, my 20's come back to my mind (... you fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way

...), then my 30's (... one day you find ten years have got behind you, no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

...) followed by my 40's (... it's good to warm my bones beside the fire

...)

Am I the only one who just doesn't care for WYWH? I mean, the title tune is excellent but everything else doesn't really do much for me.
