no offense but that is dirt easy. i'm sure most people here know that. i don't even want to answer it unless i'm promised a prize package of sorts.

Firstly, what, did you wake this morning with the urge to carpet post the boards?

Your enthusiasm is heartening, but your methods might get under some folks' noses because of the duplication of existing threads by most of your new threads today.

Please take a little time to read through most of the boards to see first whether there are already threads in existence to cover a subject of interest to you, then if you can't find one, please do post your new thread.

Of course, this being an egalitarian forum, you can just continue posting new, duplicate threads...but I fear before long thread war will break out.

And secondly, the two gentlemen whose first names provided Syd with the name of his cat, and then the band, were in actual fact blues artists.

Ever the helpful one, thorin, but occasionally it can be a chore.

Sorry to post two times in a row here, but I just got too annoyed.

I mean, this must be some kind of record here, this guy posted 10 new threads, I think, in less than 24 hours, and easily about 7 of those were useless, either because the subject matter was utter nonsense or because an ideantical or very similar thread *already* existed. And the consistency......

I DO know that I woke up in a bad mood today, but still... I think maybe the moderators should do something to prevent this kind of events in the future. Posting threads is not a game and the boards are not a toy!!!

Hope I didn't make myself look like a jackass and turn out to be the only one who thinks this.

Even so, I apologize ahead of time if I hurt anyone's feelings or if I was a little bit rough.

I agree, you are a jackass. j/k Seriously though I've visited these boards for nearly a year and I don't think I've created 10 new threads. It is quite annoying, but what are they gonna do? Censor?

Of course not censor, but the moderators should try and prevent this tipe of events. Maybe a "private" notice should be sent or that all new members should be forced (too strong a word) to read and accepts an "agreement" where they acknoledge that this is a "community" and they should act in a way that is in the best interest of the whole community.

Maybe it sounds a little farfetched, but we all know how annoying internet and e-mail spam is. I don't know, I guess it's a matter of integrity...

I hope this little incident takes care of itself, and I have nothing against "Zabriskie" personally .
