this thread was not very well thought out in both subject and poll choices.

I agree. I dig the subject matter, but it shouldn't have been a poll.

Perhaps these were the choices that meant the most to Zabriskie. Maybe he wanted to see if our tastes were the same.

But I think it might be better to list those songs.

There IS a thread, I believe--which song brings back memories--but I think perhaps we could make a list of which Pink Floyd songs mean the most to us.

For me, my answer would have to be "Wearing the Inside Out". It is a song about learning to hope even when you've gone through the worst.

Time, because it reminds me that I won't be young forever, and that I had better get off my ass and live my life... which I sadly haven't got around to doing yet.

If the entire Wall album counts as a song, it would be the most meaninful to me.
If not, than the most meaningful song is a fight between One Of My Turns and Young Lust.
My own Young Lust is always there. And I'm always having some sort of a turn when I'm not zany happy.

Brain Damage, Echoes and time.

I agree with Shane G on the reason for liking time (although in my instance i have gotten of my arse and started enjoying life )
Echoes I just love because it has so much meaning to me for reason I can't explain it just raises great emotion in me. Brain dmage makes me realise how important friendship is "And when the band you're in starts playing different tunes I'll se you on the dark side of the moon"
