i have two problems

first: this stupid login dialog box pops up everytime i click a link. at first i thought if i put in my username and password for the forum it would stop but it didn't even take that.

second: i've turned on the [img] code on my options but it still says that it is off when i post a reply. so i can't put an image in my posts.

any help would be great.

Sorry about that, thorin13. I took the night off today to do some script maintenance, and didn't notice that password dialog box that kept on popping up all the time. Fortunately, I couldn't fall asleep and decided to check on things at 2:20 am, so I saw this and already fixed it.

Regarding the IMG tags, it's been turned off for the whole board. Even though you have the option to turn it on on your control panel switches, it won't work. We've decided it's best this way, since this feature could be easily abused.

I have a problem along these same lines. I turned off the email notification when someone replies to a topic that I replied to, yet I still get an email notification.

What's probably going on is that although you turned off the default option to subscribe to threads (that is, to receive an email notification when someone replies to that thread), you are still subscribed to a few threads. Please check your Control Panel (http://www.pinkfloydfan.net/forums/usercp.php), then check the "Subscribed Threads" part. You might have to click on "View All Subscribed Threads". From there you can unsubscribe from all the threads you want, so you'll stop receiving such notifications.

Please let me know if this doesn't work for any reason.
