drugs, yes or no?

after reading the massage: "what should i hear when im high", i want to know, which one of u EVER took drugs and which one NEVER took it?

I have never taken drugs... i would never take drugs!

I'm all for it as long as it is used safely, have fun but be careful is what i think should happen

i tried the marijuana once...didn't do anything, unsurprisingly. I don't even think I inhaled But, will never do it again. I'll never even use alcohol...can't stand the stuff, much less the people who use it.

I've done marijuana twice. It was a waste of time, on both occasions.
As for drinking, I agree with Wing'd Icarus. I've never done that, nor would I.

I don't drink or do drugs, either.

PF is a good enough drug for just about any effect you could want!

I've never tried any drugs; never will. I wouldn't know a Marijuana joint if it bit me on the ass. Closest I've been to that stuff is watching Cheech & Chong. But I have an occasional beer, like at a party or after a round of golf.

People that find I'm a Floyd fan always automatically assume I'm a stoner, and are surprised when I assure them I'm not.

To echo F-W, PF is the only drug you need.

Okay, here goes. Was getting a bit miffed with the slightly holier-than-thou atmosphere of this topic and decided to shout out for the other side.

I have used LSD (rather, it has used me) on several occasions the most recent being last August and the next expected, the forthcoming August at an annual holiday weekend fancy dress party. Two DJs, lots of spiked punch (of exceeding high quality) and lots of strangely fashioned folk, i.e. A fecker of a BLAST!

My LSD ePFany occured during the epic 8 playings of DSOTM and the snake feeding/eating debacle.

I don't drink, but my personal poison of choice is cannabis resin, hashish to the uninitiated. When I can't get any of that of passing standard, skunk (weed, grass) will suffice. Am addicted to nicotine, and caffeine and sugar, but to a much lesser extent.

I was once offered a small mountain of cocaine, had a snort or three, felt no discernible reaction, and never looked at it again. Me pockets aren't deep enough for cocaine anyway, thankfully.

Would NEVER dream of using speed, heroin, crack, E or any other new-wave designer drug.

As a very wayward teen, sampled what I was told was PCP, and felt "dead" for an hour and a half, nauseous without relief and NEVER tried that shit again.

So there ya go. Judge away.

i haven't done drugs. and i tried alcohol on a couple of occasions but it didn't take. i guess for some reason i listened to the DARE ads and other commercials and stuff to keep kids off of stuff like that.

Personally, Thorin (since you mentioned the DARE ads), what I fear most about drugs and alcohol is loss of control. I like to be in full command of what I am saying and doing.

When I am meditating with Floyd music, I am in full control of the experience. I've had some disturbingly trippy imaginings on a few occasions, but if I don't like the experience, I can stop it at any time. It also doesn't affect my judgment, or my reflexes.

Perhaps my closest experiences to what it's like to be on drugs were--

Percoset for post-operative pain. I felt as if I had "Mad Yannis Dance" going on in my head (the fact that I was listening to that song did not help matters at all!)...lots of vertigo. I refused to take that stuff after the second night because I didn't like the way it made me feel.

A combination of sleep deprivation, a bad case of the flu, cold medication, and the PULSE version of DSotM. I think what happened was I nodded off for a brief second, and that's why I saw all those colours. It was pretty cool...but I certainly wouldn't want to not be able to snap out of something like that.

I guess I don't like experiences where I'm not in total control of myself.
