Devil's in the sky


You can take you honour
You can take what you create
You can make your excuses
And blame it on your faith

You can take your children
And you can teach them what to think
You can teach them hatred
The missing link

But they’re not devil’s in the sky
They’re you and I
And I don’t want to die
I never want to fly
My heart is bleeding dry
When I think of you

You can take your beliefs
You can take your pride
You can blame in on your churches
But you cannot hide

You can blame it on your victims
Blame their country too
In fact, blame it on every single thing
Except you
