| Re: Best Song On Momentary Lapse Of Reason The film 'Pulp' is particularly amusing. Especially the scene where the guy following Micheal Caine has to push the taxi in which Caine is sat. V funny.

| Re: Best Song On Momentary Lapse Of Reason I voted for Sorrow, Terminal Frost and Signs of Life. Those three are on an equal footing. Also, i don't no if anyone has pointed this out, but are Sorrow and High Hopes from the Division Bell not esentially based on the same concept of loss and sadness? That is one thing i notice about the 2 post Waters albums, they both begin and end on essentially the same things as each other, whilse sounding very different. The only thing i find is missing from Momentry Lapse is the Wright sound. I really miss it on this album, much more than i missed it on the Final Cut. Still, there's something very much haunting about the album, and the artwork enhances this feeling. Gilmour clearly went a bit darker on this one. I mean sure, the Wall and FC are dark, but they were Waters' version of dark floyd. This is perhaps the darkest of all the floyd albums to my ears.

| Re: Best Song On Momentary Lapse Of Reason I Feel the same way... it's really dark. But there's something else: I think this album is much deeper than what people think. I don't know if there's anyone else feeling the same. I think it's a really deep album, musically, liricaly... i don't know why people sees it like a superficial album.

| Re: Best Song On Momentary Lapse Of Reason Actually, i agree, it is a lot deeper than people give it credit. The repetition of the ide of "one" in the lyrics is quite clever. Apart from Learning to Fly, it's quite a careful and precisely themed album. It's also quite a bit heavier than previous or later releases, and i stick by it as a darker piece. It's almost as dark as Ummagumma... [Which is a joke, not that you can tell... what with it being somewhat lacking in the most fundemental aspect of jokes: humour]

Oh no, you should pay the utmost attention to me at all other times. Otherwise i shall kill you with a bucket... [I am now pondering how that would work... My mind has come up with only one solution...] OK, forget the bucket. Instead i shall feed you to the "Horrific Bog Beast" of Scone [pronounced Scoon (it's a small village that is part of Perth)]
