Oasis is too arogant of a band for me, they have no originality and they just copy of the beatles.....and then liam gallagher said after sept 11 that he's never coming to America again.....GOOD

Re: Who's releasing decent stuff nowadays?

Well th at's all of your opinion about Oasis but I beleive they produce excellent music. They have maintained their style since the release of their first album in '94 and their music has strongly progressed since then, I think they have some of the best music out there, and there's a lot of people who would agree. It's the same as all of us thinking that about Floyd-not everyone likes them but they have a strong fan base.
I think that if the Verve were still together they'd still be producing good music as well.

Cheers

I have to agree with Dr Cheese on this one. Oasis are a poor imitation of The Beatles, with less talent, imagination and creativeness. IMO, of course.

If you like rock - you might like the "White Stripes" and "Incubus".
If you like female vocalists - you might like Indonesian singer Anggun.

The White Stripes rule. I'm really digging their song "Seven Nation Army." Those of you who have a media downloader, should download the music vid. for it.

Ah, the White Stripes rule<not to mention Meg is quite the hottie>.But that vid rules too....scared me the first time I saw it, was half asleep which probably explains alot of it, but it still rocks. And I don't know if anybody else mentioned it, but TooL and A Perfect Circle<even though they only have released one album, and TooL hasn't released anything new since Salival>are also putting out some quality tunes. Audioslave isn't too bad either...
