gig

Hi all!

I've just arrived Roger Waters 'In The Flash' concert, which was in Budapest Kisstadion (this was the first time when RW or Pink Floyd playing in HUNGARY).

The open air stadion was full (3000-5000 people), and concert was great, fantastic...etc.But there are some things for example the lead guitar guy not the best, I think he played Shine on crazy diamonds not so good...So the original Pink Floyd was the best.

Re: gig

Hello fulcrum, and welcome.

It would be good if you could fill us in on other parts of the concert, if you can remember any. Do it soon before the very vibrant memories begin to fade.

I have about 10 days left before I get to see Roger in London and I'm like a cat on a hot tin roof.

Re: gig

I would have to agree with my friend Bill, from BB&G's (Bill's Bar and Grill). If you can remember a Pink Floyd concert, then you were never there.
Think on that for a while.

Re: gig

So the concert.Started with 'In the flesh', Roger stayed in the Spotlight and we were the citizens of the Hammer Republic for a little time. Then 'The Wall' part1-2. and the people went crazy (you imagine what 'The Wall' means for the Eastern Europien men). After that there were a slower set, with RWs solo songs and legendary songs like 'Wish you were here' (everybody was singing this song with RW), and my favourite:Shine on your crazy diamonds. Some songs from Animals (with the flying pig by the projectors), and 'Mother'.
It not only a concert it was a great performance, with pictures, videos, sound behind you and sounds from the sides (dogs, truck, helicopters).
end of the first part, short break.
The second part started with 'Breath'+'Time' and the next was 'Money', 'Brain damage'.Aftre that the solo sonds dominate again, and the great finish with 'Comfortably numb '.The bonus was RWs new love song.

Well, I think this night was unforgettable for me and thousends of people; Roger Hungary waiting for back!
