What is it?

"Jupiter and Beyond Echoes" (or "Echoes 2001") is an excerpt from Stanley Kubrick`s 2001 (1969, MGM) played to Pink Floyd's "Echoes" song from the "Meddle" album.

You can have an idea of what "Jupiter and Beyond Echoes" (or "Echoes 2001") feels like by clicking the link below:

What do I need?
Video: "Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite", the end segment of Stanley Kubrick's 2001 (1969, MGM).
Audio: Echoes, the sixth track of the Pink Floyd album "Meddle".
How to start the synch?
Pause "Echoes" and 2001 at the black screen just before the title "Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite" shows up. Unpause both at the same time - it's simple as that. Some people say that the best synchronicity occurs when the scene comes up just as the third ping in "Echoes" is heard.

What to expect?
First, the song and the video will end at exactly the same time. The whole mood and theme of the song fits with the visuals with a surprising effect. Echoes' original lyrics were about outer space and according to Nicholas Schaffner's "Saucerful of Secrets", Roger Waters said his biggest regret was that Pink Floyd didn't do the score for 2001.
