What do I need?

Video: "Second Machine" section of "Contact", the 1997 science fiction movie with Jodie Foster, where she makes contact with beings from the Vega star system.
Audio: Echoes, the sixth track of the Pink Floyd album "Meddle".

How to start the synch?

Pause "Echoes". Fast Forward "Contact" to the part after Jodie Foster (Ellie Arroway) is taken to the remote site in Japan and received the cyanide capsule from the scientists. Then, the scene changes to her private quarters and shows her sitting on her bed. A knock is heard on the door. You should start playing "Echoes" exactly when Ellie looks up and says "Come in...". The first PING of the music should coincide with the opening of the door. The track will end when Ellie returns and asks "How long have I been gone?"

What to expect?

Like the 2001 and Echoes synchronicity, this one has a very dramatic effect as far as the mood and theme of the song with the video. The lyrical synchronicity is not to pay attention for.
