i listen to TFC when i have to do some serious thinking
momentary is not bad but it has no - i don't know how to put it -

I know what you mean about atmosphere. TFC is full of it. I prefer to listen to that when i feel more contemplative because of that.

hmh... The Final Cut I love as an album, but then again "Learning to Fly" was the first "Pink Floyd" tune I ever heard and made me buy their albums...

But I still like The Final Cut a lot more, AMLoR is just important to me due to those other reaons.

So, TFC for me.

The Final Cut is an incredible album. Roger answering so many of his personal demons. Demons that were 'haunting' thousands of people all over the world. Gilmore hated it. Thats ok, he's entitled to his opinion, but as Roger related; A lady approached him in a market saying that she understood what he was saying as she had lost her father early in her life because of war also. Roger said that was good enough for him.

Of course my vote goes to The Final Cut. Momentary hasn't been played here for ages, and I doubt it will again.
