| The Final Cut...or A Momentary Lapse...? Well, that's a tough one. Both albums lack something (TFC lacks Richard Wright while AMLOR lacks Roger Waters). Well, I like TFC more, but I tend to listen to AMLOR a lot. WHY CAN'T YOU JUST ASK WHAT IS BETTER, PEPSI OR COKE?!?

| How about this? How about Tennessee Tea? I mean you have Jack Daniels, and you have coke. Tastes good, feels good, and sometimes comes out good.

| Re: What do you play more? Personally, I like yoohoo, but that was not one of the choices, and out of those two I would have to go with Coke. You don't see them supporting the military dictatorship in Myanmar to build a plant like Pepsi. Anyway, back to the original question, I would rather listen to The Final Cut. Once I heard Learn to Fly I hated A Momentary Lapse of Reason, and every song I have heard after that is pretty terrible as well. There is no Pink Floyd when there is no Roger Waters, if you ask me, though i will admit that The Division Bell was pretty good. I love High Hopes. Anyway, to those of you disturbed by my assertian that said Robert Fripp is far superior to Gilmour, I will admit that rock is not necessarily the way to go. Also, you are right about Moonchild, I had forgotten (perhaps intentionally) about that song. You have to admit though, that Fripp really "Disciplined" himself in the 80's. Of course, he is back to more long- winded jamming in the 90's, but that's not my fault. I don't really like Adrian Belew. I am just saying that. It seems to me that he was more tolerable in the Discipline era than he is now. Oh well.

| Re: What do you play more? AMLoR easily. Someone once told me that Radiohead's "OK Computer" was voted the number one album to cut your wrists to...and my immediate thought was "well I guess that makes TFC number two". It is just too bare and depressing. At least the depressing lyrics in earlier albums were made bearable by extended and inspiring instrumentals. Unfortunatley some of the original arrangements on Momentary Lapse are lacking. If the album had been recorded the way they play a lot of the songs live...it would be absolutely sensational. I am still of the opinion that it is a great composition (lyrical arguments aside). And, unlike TFC, I don't think the lack of Waters lyrics detracts in the same way as the lack of Gilmour/Wright musical input. I guess, as always, it comes down to why you listen to the Floyd.

| Re: What do you play more? Robert Fripp is DEFINITELY one of the BEST guitarists of all time ! It's hard to compare him with Dave - too different styles. But I adore his sound and most of all the work he did with other musicians (eg David Sylvian's "Gone to Earth").

| Re: What do you play more? yes fripp is awesome. and funny. when i saw him in concert recently he sat in a chair with his side to the crowd and he just looked straight ahead the whole time. and he showcased some of his fripptronics which were awesome. and he came out in the middle of a tool song and played. it was pretty cool.
