I think it looks good.

I admit I might not have altered the colours quite so much (to keep it reminiscent of WYWH), but it does look quite good.

A suggestion, if I may...

I would think the back ground would look a little better if you added something there, perhaps some clouads or the building from the animals cover.
Just a suggestion

obladi: nice one.

Paulo: it looks good mate, and as you well know, my meagre contribution was a pleasure, never a chore.

I WAS working on a more "bumpy" brick-textured and rosey pinkly hued version but abandoned it expecting it's saved image size to be too large. It looked darned good though.

Floyd on!

obladi,

Yeah, I think that's what they had in mind with their suggestion, but I believe the power station image was meant to be overlaid on the current "hole in The Wall" instead of your "pig hole".

My attempt

First of all I have to say that I believe Obladi's work to be the best seen so far (Inzagol, anche il tuo é un gran bel lavoro, ma non credo che possa trovare spazio nella homepage del sito a meno di non rimodificarla completamente) but I'll ask you to check out mine anyway: I know it's not as effective, but I think that the idea of the "empty spaces" between bricks should be used anyway, so the final logo might be a combination of all our ideas (Obladi, Inzagol, Byron and FWr... oh, and me I hope!) and as I just couldn't come up with a satisfying written explanation of what I had in mind, I thought it best to try and design it.

Here's the (mediocre) result

What I almost envision would be to go back to my original template with the WYWH sky, but add the mechanical handshake emblem. I think it would be quite ironic, in light of HOW we fans are meeting (through machines).

BUT--I have seen other pieces here that are excellent, and I would object to none of them. My compliments to the artists!

But that wouldn't do for The Wall theme, would it?

I thought the power station overlay more appropriate because it was the immediately preceding album and can be seen "looking back" through the uncompleted, or crumbling wall.

that sounds nice :P Have some backstory on the logo

And FWr, great minds think alike. Well, sometimes, more of a coincidential thing, but oh well.
