I remember listening to R.E.M's "Shiny Happy People" when I was about 4. The first song I remember.

Yours?

School's out by Alice Cooper. My dad used to play that record all the time and I loved that song.

Re: First song you remember hearing...

I remember, at the age of 4, riding in the car with my folks and the radio station they listened to always played A-Ha's "Take On Me." The yodeling part of the song used to freak me out then.

"Love Shack" is sublime pop and a firm favourite even when sober.

First song I remember...hmm...can't remember.

Re: First song you remember hearing...

I remember when I was about 4 hearing "Dreams" by Van Halen. At that time it was popular and came on the radio a lot, it was my favorite song and every time it came on I would run around the room and go nuts.

Re: First song you remember hearing...

Shot in the Dark by Ozzy Osborne, my uncle Mike had a videotape of metal bands off of MTV. There was Ratt, Poison, Ozzy, and a dozen others. But my favorite was Ozzy. The video was scary, u know how Ozzy is. Later.
