Re: Which one's Pink?

Nick deserves a special nod -- He is the only one who's been there from the start; through every phase.

Don't know, don't care...I just wanted to be resposible for the 1000th viewing of this thread.

...but since I'm here, when I have a good buzz going and put on
any Floyd album... I BECOME PINK.

Re: Which one's Pink?

Well these CD/LP things tell me that Pink Floyd is Barrett, Gilmour, Manson, Waters, Wright, so I'd suppose those guys.

Re: Which one's Pink?

They're all Pink, right?? Did I get it??

Actually, Pink Floyd cannot be pinned down to just one person, look at post Waters Floyd, they're still kicking.

I just recently re-listened to P.U.L.S.E. and the song 'Keep Talking' blows my mind. I really enjoy the part where the guy is saying "it doesn't have to be this way", "we live like the animals", and stuff like that. It's absolutely amazing. Isn't this the guy who is paralyzed, but he's still some kind of genius?? I dunno, Pink Floyd never cease to amaze me.

I guess I never really gave Pink Floyd a chance after Roger Waters was gone, but after hearing the songs on p.u.l.s.e., I've decided to buy 'A Momentary Lapse' & 'Division Bell'. These albums have the Pink Floyd name, as well as the Pink Floyd sound.
I always thought Waters WAS Floyd, but he wasn't. Sure, the torch of Pink Floyd has been in many hands, but to be Pink, there has to be a band feeding off of eachothers energy.

Yes, one Prof. Stephen Hawking. He was wrong about black holes, apparently.

Re: Which one's Pink?

My point was that the band, Pink Floyd, wasn't COMPLETELY devistated by the absense of Mr. Waters. Sure, they did need a little help writing songs, but it still sounds like Floyd to me.
