Shine on and on, Pink Floyd

Hey dude.

Triple M in Sydney had the same thing about two months ago, and Pink Floyd didn't make it inside the top 40!!!! I was, to say the least, a little peeved with the tasteless preferences of the masses. Same as your one...Comfy numb was 400 and something.

Yes i heard about that via my friend.
I think it was Metallica that came first.
This top 500 was in Adelaide (in Australia for those who dont know)
It just shows that we have a really good taste in music
I really quite like the others in the top 10 as well, and most of the others in the whole 500

Yeah that top ten is a lot better than the one we had (although Another Brick in The Wall was no 1 here last year).

I guess Adelaide has something going for it after all.

I think it is about time Sydney did take the bait. It seems as though Adeliade isn't might seem for outsiders like you.

I was talking about our happy, friendly little Adelaide chick who goes by the name Sydney 'round here...but you're right...Adelaide doesn't get the best of wraps in this part of the world.

It's good that pink floyd was first, but did it have to be wish you were here? I think shine on you crazy diamond is the best of the songs listed. I guess it's not as popular though.

I think Shine On is too long for a "popular" radio station to play...or for the plebs to enjoy. Next year I'm going to get everyone on this site to vote for Shine On, or Echoes or something (you can vote on the triple M website) so a REAL classic makes it into the top rankings.

Yeah that is the only problem i think with Shine on and echoes, etc.
